“Hidden Kitty, Joseph” Carol WelshThe Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA), District Chapter 215 (Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas Area) is holding its local colored pencil art show at the 14th Street Gallery in Plano, Texas.

At the ‘Artist’s Reception and Awards Ceremony’ held on September 9, 2006,  ‘Just Art’ artist Carol Welsh placed third in the award category “Animals” for her art piece entitled “Inspiration:  2 Flamingos and My Mother”.  The Juror for this competition was Rex Reece, an Art Professor at Collin County Community College.

In addition, Carol, the Texas artist has two other pieces of art in the show, “Hidden Kitty” and “Thinking ‘Inside’ the box”.  This art exhibition of colored pencils demonstrates some beautiful and interesting pieces of art work.  This show is well worth attending and all art works will be on display until September 27, 2006.
